Stag FM on the hunt for Hertford studios

THIS week, Stag FM representatives were out and about in Hertford looking at suitable sites on which to build the new radio station with which it plans to serve Hertford and the surrounding areas when the licence is awarded in the year 2000.
The location, which is a closely-guarded secret, will be somewhere in the centre of Hertford, revealed Eric Moonman, chairman of Stag FM, today.
The site has been earmarked for the development by DMG Radio, which already operates Oasis FM in St. Albans and Watford. The Stag FM studios will be a purpose-built, rather than modify an existing building, in order to adequately house the state-of-the-art equipment and facilities.
"The project will represent an investment of £½ million by the company", confirmed Eric.
